SAF130 SCAFFOLDING FOR THE COMPETENT PERSON
Throughout the construction industry Scaffolds are used in many forms. Applying OSHA’s construction Scaffold Standards, 29CFR part 1926.451 as a guide, the course covers the requirements for competent construction and use of scaffolding. Students will participate and learn the fundamental concepts of:
- Safe scaffolding
- Types of scaffolds and their components
- How to determine secure assembly
- Use
- Disassembly
- Identifying common violations of OSHA Standards
