SAF117 EXCAVATION/TRENCHING FOR THE COMPETENT PERSON
This course covers the roles and responsibilities of the employer to educate and assign a competent person to excavation sites. Students will learn:
- How to define and apply OSHA Excavation Standards
- Excavation hazards and control measures
- Soil analysis techniques
- Protective system requirements
- Emergency response best practices
Upon course completion, students will understand the importance and duties of a competent person in excavation work and have the knowledge and skills required for performing these duties.
