SAF104 7.5 HR DISASTER SITE WORKER
Volunteers responding to disaster sites are required to complete the OSHA 7.5-hr Disaster Site Worker training prior to entering a disaster site. The prerequisite for this training is completion of the OSHA 10-hr or 30-hr Construction or General Industry Course. Students will learn:
- The safety Hazards and CBRNE (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive)
- The Health Hazards and Traumatic Incident Stress Awareness
- About Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Respirator
- About decontamination
- The Incident Command System
Upon completion, students will receive the OSHA sanctioned 7.5-hr wallet card.
