SAF102 30-HR CONSTRUCTION
The 30-hr OSHA authorized training in occupational safety and health is for workers who are involved in construction. Students will receive mandatory, elective, and optional training including:

- Personal Protective Equipment
- Health Hazards
- Stairways and Ladders
Elective (12-hr requirement)
- Concrete and Masonry Construction
- Confined Space Entry
- Cranes, Derricks, Hoist, Elevators and Conveyors
- Ergonomics
- Trenching / Excavations
- Fire Protection and Prevention
- Materials Handling, Storage and Use of Equipment
- Motor Vehicles, Mechanized Equipment, Rollover Protective Structures, Overhead Protections and Signs, Signals and Barricades
- Powered Industrial Trucks
- Safety and Health Programs
- Scaffolds
- Steel Erection
- Tools, Hand and Power
- Welding, Cutting, Brazing
- Foundations for Safety Leadership (min. 2.5 hours)
Optional (hazards, policies or expand topics listed above and 4-hr requirement) Upon completion, students will receive the OSHA sanctioned 10-hr wallet card.
