SAF100 10-HR CONSTRUCTION
This 10-hr OSHA Authorized training course is an orientation to occupational Safety and Health for Workers who are involved in construction and covers 29 CFR 1926. This class is for entry-level construction workers such as carpenters, electricians, laborers, masons, plumbers, sheet metal workers, tile workers and welders. Students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to work safely, reduce hazards, and promote a culture of safety in the workplace.

- Falls
- Electrocution
- Struck by
- Caught in between
- Personal protective Equipment
- Health Hazards
This 1 ½ day class is taught live online, so students can interact with the instructor and other students from your own home. Students will learn how to avoid fatalities and accidents in construction such as slipping, tripping, getting struct by an object, electrocution and getting caught between objects on the construction site and machinery.
You will learn the workplace safety responsibility of your employer and you will learn your rights including how to file a complaint if your workplace is not meeting safety standards. With this certification you will be well-prepared to face the challenges and responsibilities in the construction industry giving you a leg up over other workers who don’t have the certification.
Essentially the purpose of the OSHA 10-hr training course is to promote workplace safety and health by making workers more knowledgeable about the common job-related hazards and the best practices to minimize them. Workers learn about crucial hazards as well as how to protect their legal rights. Its an affordable way for companies to promote workplace safety.
This course will take 1 ½ days to complete. Once you register and pay for the course, you will receive a confirmation email with a Zoom meeting link and instructions on how to attend.
