SAF100 10-HR CONSTRUCTION
10-hr OSHA authorized training is an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers who are involved in construction. Students will receive mandatory, elective, and optional training including:
Mandatory Topics (6-hr requirement)
- Intro to OSHA
- OSHA Focus Four Hazards
- Falls
- Electrocution
- Struck by
- Caught in between
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Health Hazards
Elective (At least two topics and 2-hr requirement)
- Cranes, Derricks, Hoist, Elevators and Conveyors
- Excavations
- Materials Handling, Storage and Use of Equipment
- Scaffolds
- Stairways and Ladders
- Tools, Hand and Power
Optional (hazards, card, policies or expand topics listed above and 2-hr. requirement) Upon completion, students will receive the OSHA sanctioned 10-hr wallet card.
