AHA113 Heartsaver® K-12 First-Aid/CPR/AED
Completion cards may be issued to school students, faculty including teacher and coaches, and staff and employees of the school. Students will learn to respond in a safe, timely and effective manner to a variety of injury and emergency situations. In addition, students will learn how to do CPR and how to use an AED. Topics covered in this course include:
- First-Aid basics
- Medical emergencies
- Injury emergencies
- Environmental emergencies
- Preventing illness and injury
- Adult CPR and AED use
- Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies
- Optional modules include child CPR AED and infant CPR
