The new ASLS blended learning course was created by the American Heart Association (AHA) in partnership with The University of Miami’s Gordon Center for Stimulation and Innovation in Medical Education. Their shared goal is to reduce deaths and disabilities for stroke victims.

OC201 Heartcode ASLS Provider Online – Advanced Stroke Life Support
The ASLS provider course is offered in a Blended Learning format, consisting of both an online, self-directed portion, followed by an in-person skills testing session with an ASLS Instructor. In the online component, learners follow a continuously adapting learning path that is personalized by their own inputs, for not only their performance, but also their self-reported confidence levels. We suggest that you choose level one for the best outcome.
SK201 ASLS Provider – Skill Check
You must have successfully completed Heartcode ASLS Online course (OC201), which provides a valid certificate to complete this skill check. We only recognize American Heart Association (AHA), certificates.
AHA202 ASLS Instructor – Initial
The instructor initial course includes an Instructor Essentials course and a hands-on monitoring session. Students must bring their ASLS Combined Provider and Instructor Essential certificates to class. Also instructors must be aligned with an AHA Training center. This is a two-day course. The first day is broken up into two parts. The morning is the ASLS Provider Skill Check and the ASLS Instructor course is in the afternoon, The second day is the monitoring portion of the instructor course.
