SAF400 Process Safety Management for Chemical Operations
This course presents in-depth training of process safety elements designed to eliminate or reduce hazards identified in federal regulations and best practices derived from lessons learned from real-life experience. By using presentation, case studies and interactive exercises the course will provide students with knowledge and skills to evaluate and improve existing process safety programs or develop a program from the beginning.
Facilities that handle hazardous materials are at risk of catastrophic incidents from fire, explosion, loss of containment and other process failures. These process failures can result in casualties, injuries, property, environmental damage, and loss of the business itself. By identifying and mitigating these risks with proven systems that control process hazards the result is prevention of process failures and improvement of operational efficiency.
