SAF105 15-HR DISASTER SITE WORKER
Skilled Laborers responding to disaster sites are required to complete the OSHA 7.5-hr Disaster Site Worker training prior to entering a disaster site. The prerequisite for this training is completion of the OSHA 10-hr or 30-hr Construction or General Industry Course. Students will learn:
- Incident Command Systems/Unified Command Systems
- Safety Hazards
- Health Hazards
- CBRNE (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive)
- Traumatic Incident Stress Awareness
- About Respiratory Protection
- About Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- About Decontamination
Upon completion, students will receive the OSHA sanctioned 15-hr wallet card.
